Chartres

September 11th
Drove to Bracieux via the great Cathedral of Chartres, with its twin spires and fantastic stained glass windows, and also via Chateaudun in the rain, although we didn’t visit the Chateau. We made Camp Municipal des Chateaux as planned, as a base visiting the Royal Chateau of Chambord the next day, and other neighbouring Chateaux. Booked in for 2 nights.
