Renovation of Ruin nextdoor

Work continued in early October with Ruin Man starting to demolish supporting walls and floors. The walls are similar to the house in construction, not dissimiliar to castle walls, made of huge boulders and a mortar of earth and rock.
We think the houses were either remenants of dwellings linked to the Moorish Castle Fahalla destroyed by the French in 1812, or built from stone from the castle. Either way, the ruin and the house are pretty old.
Ruin Man has no mechanical drills or power tools-just a hammer and chisel, and an occasional labourer to help him load the skips (cubas) - 2 filled so far. The main worry is that his demolitions are threatening the integrity of the house, but hopefully the tons of reinforced concrete Ricardo used will keep it up.
